GRANDES is Pinta & Play's full Spanish immersion after-school program for children ages 5–7 who are ready to continue their bilingual journey beyond the school day.
Built around the idea that children learn best through meaningful experiences GRANDES offers a rich and creative immersion experience where learning feels engaging, purposeful, and joyful.
The program combines language development with creativity, art, cultural exploration, collaborative projects, and hands-on learning.
In our small-group setting, children strengthen their Spanish language skills while building confidence, communication abilities, cultural awareness and independent thinking. They are encouraged to express their ideas, ask questions, participate in discussions, and actively engage in the learning process. Through intentionally designed activities and projects, children use Spanish with purpose and authenticity while deepening their connection to the language and Hispanic cultures.
For children enrolled in dual-language or Spanish immersion programs, GRANDES can also provide opportunities to reinforce concepts and language skills they are learning in school, including support with Spanish homework, reading assignments, or projects when appropriate.
Whether your child is already learning Spanish at school or simply looking for more opportunities to grow in the language, GRANDES provides a welcoming environment where children can continue expanding their Spanish, express themselves freely, and discover the value of bilingualism in everyday life.
